This performance shortboard excels in small to medium conditions, even imperfect ones. Think of what usually happens during heats. The Chemical gives its best in 1m to 1m20, on waves that run mushy with very little shoulder. The combination of acceleration and pivot beats these tricky conditions. That impressive efficiency lets you lay down every move in your repertoire. It’s an extremely nervy, hyper-active board. You can use the entire length of the wave, and its natural speed links your moves with fluidity. The width at the back foot stays consistent, and the kick sits quite low. The result: magic acceleration. You reach speed very quickly, over a short distance, which makes completing moves easy and radical. The hull has had real work done: a simple, pronounced concave under the front foot, and a double concave that runs between your stance and ends in a Vee at the back foot. Rail to rail feels instinctive and magic. The drive stays super precise, and speed and maneuverability turn explosive. This board comes in PU or EPS construction and in 7 sizes, so it fits your size, skill level, and discipline.
